Selected from more than 40 firms across the country. GSG was featured as cover story and winner of the Practical Accountant Practice Innovation Award. The award recognizes GSG as a "cutting edge" firm with enhancement of the Labor/Employee Benefits Plan niche. September 2007 issue of SmartCEO magazine has chosen W. James Schiller, Director and co-founder of GSG, as one of Greater Baltimore's "Top CPAs".

The July 2005 issue of Smart CEO magazine honored three of the firm’s accountants on their list of Top CPAs in Maryland.

Practical Accountant magazine recognized GSG as one of only a handful of firms in the country with its Practice Innovation Award for Sept. 2005. The award was for the firm’s method of implementing paperless engagements.
