Simpson Gardyn has over 30 years experience in tax and business advisory services. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and assists clients with buy/sell agreements, stockholder agreements, turnarounds, succession planning, business valuations and high-level tax planning. Simpson is a key advisor in GSG's family business services.

Simpson's areas of specialization are applicable across industry sectors and can be traced to his 10 years as a manager with a national firm. His clients included those in the Hotel, Insurance, Construction (General Contractors, Subcontractors, Architects and Engineers), Manufacturing and Real Estate industries.

A trusted advisor and dynamic personality, Simpson was elected Managing Director of GSG in 2004, having been Director for 12 years. He is Trustee for many of his client's businesses and estates.

He was named one of Baltimore’s “Top 40 Accountants” in Smart CEO Magazine. 

In September 2006, Simpson appeared on the cover of the Practical Accountant Magazine representing GSG as winner of the magazine’s annual Practice Innovation Awards.

He has recently been reappointed to serve on PKF North American Network’s Practice Development Committee for 2008.
