Doug has over 30 years experience in taxation with a special focus on business and individual tax planning, personal financial planning and estate planning for high net worth individuals. A former Partner in Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young) and Director of Tax Practice for the Baltimore office of that firm, Doug's clients included McCall's Publishing Company, Noxell, and Mobil Oil. Current major clients serviced by Doug include: a large real estate management company and a nationally known Not-for-Profit foundation.

After joining GSG in 1986, Doug has specialized in the Residential Property Management industry. He works closely with one of the largest privately-held organizations in the State of Maryland. Doug's industry expertise is significant, enabling him to advise clients effectively and anticipate future trends.

Doug is an active member of the Maryland Multi-Housing Association. He has appeared on Wall Street Week and other Maryland Public Broadcasting shows for his expertise in tax and related financial matters. He was often quoted in The Baltimore SUN on tax issues.

Doug was named one of Baltimore’s “Top 50 Accountants” in Smart CEO Magazine in 2006.
