Joseph A. Liberman has over 29 years experience specializing in tax services including the areas of real estate, law, health care, technology, and nonprofit organizations.

Joe was an officer with Grabush, Newman, Co., P.A. before it combined with SMART in 2003. Prior to Grabush, Joe was a partner with a local accounting firm, before that firm merged with Grabush, Newman & Co., P.A. in December 1997.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Towson State University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Maryland Association of CPAs. He has been actively involved in the Maryland Association of CPAs, having served on its Peer Review and Federal Tax Committees. Joe also performs volunteer work with two nonprofit organizations in the Baltimore area.
