Marty has worked in the private sector as the controller for manufacturing and nonprofit organizations before entering public accounting. Marty's controller experience has contributed to his underlying acumen as a business advisor. Marty not only identifies subtle anomalies within audit and accounting numbers but also can express their relevance and practical application.

Marty has served as Chairman on several committees for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. In 2001, Marty was awarded Chairman of the Year for his leadership in accomplishing the Association's strategic objectives.

Since November 2004, Marty manages the day-to-day operations of our Hagerstown's office.
